In this article, we described the technological challenges that we needed to overcome to make OLEDWorks’ LumiCurve Wave flexible OLED panel based on Willow Glass a reality. Looking ahead, we see a disruptive ecosystem emerging for flexible glass device manufacturing. The capability exists for producing flexible glass substrates and a web at dimensions meaningful for device pilot and manufacturing scale production.
